Working in a team environment and exercising good judgment and discretion, the ID & Campus Services Student Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all students, staff, and visitors in the delivery of services supporting a successful campus experience via in-person visits, inbound phone calls, and email. This job requires general knowledge of policies and procedures and resource utilization in providing information, direction and customer centric service. Rotating Saturday hours will be required. Essential Functions and Responsibilities 1. Promote one stop customer assistance, ascertaining customers need and providing general information regarding departmental services, University events, and wayfinding assistance in a Christ-like manner. 2. Maintain the information desk area, ensuring availability and security of all required supplies and equipment. 3. Assist in the production, use, and awareness of the campus ID card. 4. Respond appropriately to email, phone messages, and user questions; adhering to established policies and procedures. 5. Assist with monitoring lost and found items. 6. Complete projects and other tasks as assigned. 7. Support the efforts of major on campus events such as Move-In and Homecoming. 8. Become familiar with policies, procedures, and resources. 9.
