We are looking for English Teachers who: 1. are able to teach English to primary, secondary students, including Singapore GCE O Level 2. has local teaching experience to GCE O Level students This position is open to both Part-time and Full-time applicants. Please refer to the work schedule for reference. Actual schedule will be discussed during the interview session. Full Time: Monday to Friday: 11.00am - 8.30pm (with lunch and dinner breaks included) Saturday & Sunday: 9.30am - 6.30pm (with lunch break included) Weekly working hours: 44 hours Weekly off: 1.5 days (face to face discussion) Public Holidays: OFF Part Time / Contract: To be discussed during interview Minimum 3 months commitment Courses Provided by Miles Education Cambridge KET/PET English Course AEIS Course Govt School Primary Course Govt School Secondary Course English Prep-Course for International School Admission Exams: WIDA, iTEP Slate Test, TrackTest, CAT4 IGCSE Course *The teachers will be assigned courses based on their competency and qualification. JOB SCOPE 1) Teaching 2) Course planning and preparation (course structure and basic materials are provided by Centre) 3) Academic material preparation 4) Student feedback 5) Homework marking 6) Academic assistance WELFARE 1) Work Pass application (if required) (only applicable for full-time position) 2) Paid annual leave 3) Comprehensive training 4) Other employee welfares (to be discussed personally) 5) Salary (to be discussed personally) 6) Bonus (to be discussed personally) (only applicable for full-time position) 7) Performance incentives (only applicable for full-time position) JOB REQUIREMENT 1) Bachelor Degree, equivalent or higher 2) Knowledge of Mandarin and English is essential for communication to all stakeholders 3) Proficiency in Lesson Planning and expertise in delivering structured and engaging lesson content. 4) Basic IT knowledge is preferred, as we also conduct online lessons using online meeting applications (e.g., Tencent) 5) Highly responsible in their job 6) Patient and passionate in communicating with all students and parents 7) Eager and capable to learn and earnest 8) Weekend Work is required PREFERRED CANDIDATE'S BACKGROUND 1) Possessing professional certificate relating to education industry 2) Having Singapore primary and/or secondary education experience 3) Certificate/diploma/degree offered by local Polytechnic or University 4) Obtain Grade B or higher score in O level English and Grade A or higher score in O Level Math or Science 5) Possessing 7.0 or higher score in IELTS 6) Capable of teaching other subjects besides English and Math 7) Singaporeans, PR and foreigners are all welcome to apply APPLICATION PROCESS 1) Attach your CV, education certificates and transcripts (PSLE, O Level, A level or equivalent, Degree), and Cover Letter (if applicable) 2) Qualified candidate will receive interview invitation. 3) Interview outcome will be released in 1-2 weeks by email.
