Responsibilities

  • Assist Civil Group Leader with Design and Project Management
  • Perform technical planning and design work associated with land or site development and/or municipal projects, including (as appropriate based on experience and licensure)
  • Develop site layouts and perform detailed design and grading to ensure efficient, compliant, and build-ready project sites
  • Perform comprehensive stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control planning, and landscape assessments to support resilient and compliant project development

  • Prepare records and construction plans for agency/municipal review
  • Complete various land development and environmental permitting applications.

  • Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review
  • Prepare construction plans for agency/municipal review along with completion and submission of various land development permit applications

Requirements

  • BS degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Seven or more years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
  • Professional Engineer license in Tennessee preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software and ArcGIS
  • Demonstrated ability & experience to lead a team of engineers and designers
