Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP SD solutions on time and managing the SAP systems of assigned customers.
• Work closely with key users to analyse business requirements and perform business process re-engineering.
• Design solution architectures and recommend SAP best practices based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain SAP SD configuration in accordance with business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Work with users to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Lead or participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, rollout and support projects.
• Accountable for the timely delivery and quality of SAP solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of hands-on SAP SD functional consulting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyse business requirements, and design, configure and implement SAP SD solutions from scratch without relying on existing templates or configurations.
• Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade and rollout projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD functionality and business processes.
• Proven experience in business process streamlining and process re-engineering.
• Able to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation, communication and documentation skills, with a good understanding of SAP project methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, customer engagement and interpersonal skills.
• Able to guide users in adopting SAP solutions and best practices.
• Experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) will be an added advantage.
