Candidates with substantial teaching, professional, and/or leadership experience may be considered for appointment at the Associate Teaching Professor level. We seek an outstanding educator with a strong passion for teaching, a demonstrated commitment to student success, and the ability to deliver high-quality instruction across the fundamental required courses in industrial engineering. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist with the Teaching Associate Professor title candidates must possess teaching experience. Key Job Responsibilities: Advises students on academic and career direction within a specific field of study Collaborates with department faculty and staff to develop teaching strategies relevant to the discipline Develops and designs curriculum and instructional material relevant to a course of instruction Contributes to the development of teaching and learning scholarly work including publications and presentations Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction, including assessment of student performance Contributes to the strategic development of curriculum and academic content through various mediums to ensure the integrity of the educational mission of the work unit May supervise student employees involved in development or delivery of instruction Department: College of Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISyE)
