Network Automation Engineer

About the role

You'll focus on outcomes-improving reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across our global network-by designing and delivering automation and AI Ops solutions. Key responsibilities include: Defining and delivering an AI Ops network automation strategy aligned to business and customer outcomes Identifying and implementing automation across network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and analytics Building and operating on‑prem AI infrastructure , including GPU‑enabled environments using Docker and Kubernetes Deploying and orchestrating agentic AI systems (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) Embedding security best practices across AI pipelines (secrets management, access control, encryption, audit logging) Developing automation using Python, Ansible, YAML , and integrating into CI/CD pipelines Delivering network orchestration , inventory, telemetry, and NetFlow‑based analytics for a carrier‑grade environment Collaborating closely with software, platform, and network engineering teams globally

Requirements

• Essential experience
• 4+ years across the full software development lifecycle in a network technology environment
• Strong Python and automation scripting experience
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible and modern CI/CD workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
• Solid understanding of container lifecycle management and infrastructure automation
• Strong foundation in routing, switching, network platforms, and inventory systems
• Experience working with telemetry and high‑volume network analytics
• AI/ML or AI Ops platform experience
• GPU and server infrastructure management
• NetBox customization or similar network inventory platforms
