Responsibilities

• Shoot news video, interviews, and daily assignments in the field
• Edit content for broadcast newscasts and digital platforms
• Contribute daily to KXAN.com and social platforms: Photos
• Video
• Written content (as needed)
• Great team player
• Curiosity seeker out in the field, see something interesting, stop and find out what's going on.
• Work closely with reporters, producers, and digital teams to build strong, complete stories
• Manage and maintain assigned equipment responsibly

• Strong storytelling instincts (visual and editorial)
• Ability to shoot, edit, and contribute to digital platforms
• Self-starter who can work independently and on deadline
• Team player who communicates well and adapts quickly
