The division is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to play a key operational role, overseeing and improving the systems, processes and controls that underpin the effective delivery of Lifelong Learning and Executive Education programmes. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, the postholder is responsible for ensuring operational activity across finance, contracting and payments is delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with policy, while proactively identifying and driving enhancements to support scale and complexity. Working closely with HR, Finance, and programme teams, the role acts as a central point of coordination and operational expertise, ensuring that robust, well-designed processes enable high-quality programme delivery and a positive stakeholder experience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Substantial experience managing operational processes across finance, contracting and/or HR within a complex organisational or commercial environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with academic and professional services colleagues. Experience overseeing financial operations, including income and expenditure monitoring, reconciliation, and supporting management accounts. Ability to design, document and implement operational processes and controls, ensuring clarity and compliance. Experience providing day‑to‑day oversight and guidance to colleagues, particularly within complex environments, ensuring quality and consistency of outputs.
