Principal Engineer - Electrical

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree/M.Tech preferred).
• 9-12 years of progressive experience in electrical design, with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in system integration, electrical building services, and energy‑efficient design strategies.
• Proven ability in stakeholder engagement, coordination, and technical negotiation
• Additional Information
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Experience coordinating with statutory authorities and supporting authority approvals.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct or participate in independent technical and peer design reviews.

Job Summary Serves as the technical lead for complex building projects, ensuring design excellence, regulatory compliance, and adherence to AECOM standards and best practices. Job Description Lead the electrical design delivery for complex building and infrastructure projects. Review and sign off on design basis reports, equipment selection, and technical schematics. Implement AECOM design standards and conduct technical peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance. Mentor and guide project teams, including leading BIM execution plans and coordination activities. Support early‑stage project development, including feasibility studies, concept design, and technical justification. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
