Purchasing Executive (Food Supply)

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase a wide range of food products and supplies
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate the best cost and delivery terms with suppliers
• Prepare Purchase Orders and monitor delivery schedules
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Coordinate closely with the Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth deliveries
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining product quality

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics or related discipline
• 2-3 years of purchasing/procurement experience preferred
• Experience in food supply, food trading, FMCG, hospitality or related industries will be an advantage
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal departments
• Good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
