Risk & Compliance SME - Consultant

Responsibilities

• Client Delivery & Execution Lead and support client engagements, both onsite and remotely, delivering high-quality workstreams and producing complex, client-ready deliverables
• Project & Workstream Management Manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and coordinate activities across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Build strong client relationships and confidently present insights, recommendations, and strategic decisions to stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Business Analysis & Problem Solving Analyze client challenges using both quantitative and qualitative approaches to develop structured, actionable solutions
• Risk & Compliance Support Support the design and implementation of compliance frameworks, systems, and processes, including defining data requirements and analyzing performance trends
• Team Collaboration & Mentorship Collaborate with team members and provide guidance on tools, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)
• Documentation & Knowledge Management Maintain clear and organized project documentation to ensure transparency, continuity, and knowledge sharing
• Thought Leadership & Practice Development Contribute to internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and the development of firm capabilities
• Business Development Support Assist in proposal development, identify new opportunities, and support broader business development efforts
• Meeting Facilitation Lead effective meetings with both internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment and clear next steps
• Required
• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, Business Management, Mathematics, or a related field
• 1 - 4 years of client-facing management consulting experience, preferably within technology or fintech environments
• Experience supporting or delivering risk, compliance, or regulatory-related initiatives
• Strong understanding of industry challenges within technology, fintech, or regulated environments
• Proven ability to build and manage client relationships
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including knowing when to escalate issues
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Preferred
• Master's degree or MBA
• Experience within financial services, fintech, or technology-driven organizations
• Exposure to areas such as risk management, compliance, financial crimes, or regulatory programs
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or process improvement methodologies
