This role sits at the centre of the operation, supporting paving, transport, milling, TTM, and asphalt and lab plants across Auckland. With up to 300 Fulton Hogan team members and subcontractors on shift, you'll play a key part in keeping asphalt production, delivery, and paving running safely, efficiently, and on time. Mō te tūranga | About the role You'll operate plant, monitor milling tip sites, and work alongside roading crews to support night shift operations across Auckland. With links across all parts of the operation, this role helps keep resources moving where they're needed so crews can deliver Good Work on the ground. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Operate plant and equipment to support safe, efficient night shift operations. Monitor and oversee milling tip sites, ensuring they are managed safely and effectively. Support trucking and site activity to keep operations running smoothly. Work alongside roading crews and assist with plant operation when needed. Help coordinate operational links across paving, transport, milling, TTM, and asphalt and lab plants. Provide practical on-site leadership and decision making during shift. Follow safety, quality, and environmental processes at all times. Experience working in a moving plant environment. The ability to communicate clearly and give direction on site. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead.
