About the role

Gemini is a global crypto and Web3 platform founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in 2014, offering a wide range of simple, reliable, and secure crypto products and services to individuals and institutions in over 70 countries. Our mission is to unlock the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom by providing trusted access to the decentralized future. We envision a world where crypto reshapes the global financial system, internet, and money to create greater choice, independence, and opportunity for all - bridging traditional finance with the emerging cryptoeconomy in a way that is more open, fair, and secure. As a publicly traded company, Gemini is poised to accelerate this vision with greater scale, reach, and impact. The Department: Data The Role: Product Management Intern At Gemini, every team member is the captain of their own ship, trusted to chart new routes and move the mission forward. We're building the future of money and markets, and we're looking for a curious, data-driven Product Management Intern to join us at the intersection of product, data, and AI. This is not a watch-from-the-sidelines internship. From your first week, you'll own a real piece of the work: real products, real users, real impact. No project is too big and no detail too small, and you'll see your work reach real customers. This will be a 16-week fall internship program required to be in person 3 days a week at our New York City, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Be AI-first. Make AI a default part of how you work, using modern tools to move faster, think bigger, and raise the bar for the whole team.
  • Build cross-functional alignment. Help shape product vision, write the requirements that get things built, and align engineering and back office / operations teams around a shared direction.
  • Ship things that matter. Partner with stakeholders on experiences people love and with engineers to launch features into production, then track the metrics to see what worked.

Requirements

  • A relevant academic background. Pursuing a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Business, or a related field.
  • A bias for moving fast. If something can be done in five minutes, you get it done right away. For larger deliverables that require focus, you leverage business instincts, hustle, and AI to deliver what would've taken weeks in a matter of days.
  • A structured problem-solver. You break big, ambiguous questions into orderly pieces, turning large projects into incremental milestones that keep teams moving and progress measurable.
  • A relentless growth mindset. As a student of the world, you can't go long without exploring something new, you actively seek out and act on feedback, and you treat every project as a chance to get sharper, comfortable being a beginner on your way to becoming an expert.
  • Agile and adaptable. You're capable of quickly picking up and supporting new concepts and ideas, and ambiguity energizes you. You'd rather propose a direction than wait for one.
  • A user-focused builder. You have real empathy for people's problems and an instinct for products that delight rather than merely function, holding a high bar for product quality and for experiences that are easy to understand and use.
  • A foundation in data. A base-level understanding of data analysis and insights that you're keen to build on.
  • Enough technical fluency to hold your own with strong engineers (you don't need to code daily, but you should understand technical complexity, architectural decisions, and accompanying tradeoffs).
  • Hands-on experience from a prior internship, a startup, a hackathon, a club you led, or a project where you actually built or researched something.
  • A passion for consumer-first technology.
  • Knowledge of and interest in cryptocurrencies, cryptography, and/or blockchain technology.
