POSITION SUMMARY: To enter patient selections in the hand held computer in compliance with patient diet orders; assist patients in selecting their meals whenever possible; to explain basic diet information to patients and their family members; to act as a liaison between patients and the Department of Food & Nutrition ensuring that they receive the highest level of customer service. To know and perform basic computer functions related to the CBORD Diet Office System. To provide tray delivery and nourishments to patients. To stock food supplies for the nursing units pantries. To deal with all meal service issues. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills.
