Responsibilities

  • As a Construction Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring public infrastructure projects are built safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of construction inspection experience on public works or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in utility (water/sewer/storm drain) and roadway construction.
  • Experience working with municipal agencies, special districts, or transportation agencies.
  • California public works experience strongly preferred (Sacramento region a plus).
  • Certifications (Preferred or Required - One or More)
  • NICET Level I or higher - Construction Materials Testing
  • Caltrans JTCP (Soils/Aggregate or Asphalt)
  • ACI Field Technician Grade I
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
  • ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor
  • Nuclear Gauge / Radiation Safety Certification
  • OSHA 10
  • Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to travel between job sites and offices using a company vehicle.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record with 3 or less demerit points.
