About the role

This job announcement uses the Subject Matter Expert Panel Assessment to evaluate applicants. One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-06 for GS-07 or GS-07 for GS-08) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience for the GS-07 position is defined as: maintaining accounting or financial ledgers; posting financial transactions; collections, preparing accounting reports; reconciling accounts and working with a variety of accounting and financial automated systems. Specialized experience for the GS-08 position is defined as: processing and auditing complex contracts and vendor pay entitlement transactions; reconciling pay system and financial system data; working with a variety of electronic systems to review and resolve pay transaction issues.Time-in- You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
