A Day in the Life HTM Dialysis Specialist will work closely under the supervision of the Clinical Engineering Director, as well as the Senior HTM Dialysis Specialist. Responsibilities include the following. -Maintain, test, repair all water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, testing equipment, as required by the manufacturer. -Document all maintenance and repairs. -Maintain an accurate equipment inventory. -Conducts water testing at required intervals and maintains this documentation. -Ensures all maintenance is completed in a timely fashion and is within required grace periods. -Ensures all work areas are safe and clean. What's Required Associate's degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology; In lieu of an associate's degree consideration will be made for a high school (or GED equivalent) diploma and 2 years of relevant experience. Valid driver's license and or ability to cover at other facilities and transport equipment and supplies as needed. Qualities and traits: Collaborative, independent, analytical, mechanical, self-motivated, self-starter, continuous learner. Prior experience working in a mechanical, automotive, or construction industry, Dialysis, or medical technical setting. (Preferred, but not required).
