Finance Manager (Tax/Accounting)

Responsibilities

• Core Responsibilities
• Finance Governance & Policies Preparation and implementation of finance rules and policies
• Budgeting & Planning Consolidation and submission of budgets to corporate.
• Accounting & Compliance Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Companies Act 2013, Income Tax Act, GST, etc.)
• Support statutory, internal, and tax audits
• Taxation Review advance tax filings and GST-related matters
• Financial Operations Oversee vendor payments, contracts, and finance systems
• Review petty cash and banking activities
• Effective utilization of fund.
• Reporting & Closing Support month-end/year-end close activities
• Provide financial data to consultants (e.g., transfer pricing, audits)
• Payroll checks, PF, PT return filling.
• Intercompany balance reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate board meetings, AGM, and corporate compliance activities
• Asset & Systems Control Manage fixed asset verification and system/process improvements
• Team Oversight Supervise Regular & Outsourced accounting staff and resolve operational issues (up to 5 employees)
• Bachelor's/master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA.
• Professional certifications will be added advantage: CA, CPA, CMA, CFA .
• 8-15 years of experience in Business Finance or Entity Controller roles.
• Strong knowledge of advanced Excel/Power BI skills.
