About the role
You will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, psychological and social well-being of teenage residents in a structured residential home environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide casework and counselling support to teenagegirls in residential care
- Conduct needs and risk assessments; develop andimplement Individual Care Plans
- Work closely with external stakeholders including schools, agencies and healthcare professionals
- Facilitate restorative work and family counselling sessions
- Monitor residents' progress, manage incidents and maintain accurate case documentation
- Participate in weekly case conferences and follow-up actions
- Plan and run group work, life skills programmes and developmental workshops
- Coordinate relevant enrichment activities, classes and talks
- Prepare reports and support the Head of Home in assigned duties
Requirements
- Bachelor in Social Work or Registered Social Worker.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in casework or youth support services
- Strong interpersonal, communication and counselling skills
- Compassionate, resilient and motivated to empower vulnerable youth
- Able to support after-hours emergencies when required
