  • Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts, including DEA/BNDD substance logging and audits in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Assist in updating inventory costs and pricing in software to reflect accurate product markup or margin, while identifying waste and minimizing product duplication.
  • Audit patient visit lists (PVLs) and open transactions to identify missed charges, incomplete entries, and open prescriptions that need to be restocked.
  • Document KPIs and captured charges, guide team members as needs arise, and work with the supervisor to assess discount trends and reasons.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; 2-year College Degree or RVT preferred.
  • Knowledge of veterinary services, protocols, and products preferred.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to problem-solve effectively with the medical team.

Inventory Specialist Salary : $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., alternating 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. shifts, with rotating weekends. Reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.
