Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage coastal and marine construction operations, including ground improvement, seabund installation, and land reclamation activities.
- Organise, coordinate, and track marine equipment and logistics such as barges, pontoons, cranes, workboats, and sea-based material deliveries.
- Compile and submit daily or weekly progress updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders, outlining achievements, issues, delays, and corrective actions.

- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, marine personnel, and specialist vendors to ensure work sequencing, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and review technical submissions such as method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans, and marine coordination documentation for approval.
- Liaise with consultants, regulatory authorities, and internal departments regarding permits, inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
- Promote and enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and environmental compliance, including monitoring tidal conditions, weather factors, and marine operational constraints.
- Work with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely mobilisation of marine equipment, materials, and site consumables.
- Provide engineering support and assist with planning or ad-hoc technical tasks to ensure project milestones are achieved.

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in marine, coastal, reclamation, waterfront, nearshore, or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience in marine construction planning, logistics coordination and site execution.
- Good knowledge of marine safety practices, environmental controls, and relevant statutory regulations.
- Knowledgeable in marine plant and equipment operations, temporary works, and construction planning and execution.
- Prior experience liaising with public sector authorities such as HDB, JTC, PSA, MPA, LTA, or equivalent agencies is advantageous.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and subcontractors.
