Job Description Primary Function : Ensure that correct resin blends are delivered to each line utilizing poly pumps and blending equipment in the manufacturing department Essential Functions : Perform housekeeping in and around resin hook up trees, blenders, poly pumps, extruders, die carts and all equipment located in the back of the manufacturing lines along the South wall in manufacturing Engage railcars for pumping when designated by either the Resin Handler or Production Supervisor and to adhere to all pumping SOP's Responsible for transferring resins and box out blends or resin as designated by either the Resin Handler or Production Supervisor as needed Use silo report and 6 digit JDE numbers to identify proper resins and or concentrates to be used in each blend by line Use incoming resin check sheet to insure any packaging items, concentrates, skids or boxed resin that is brought to manufacturing from an outside warehouse is free of contamination. Use pumping procedures to hook up railcars to correct silo using railcar pumps and proper line check procedure. Wear fall protection gear when getting on top of rail cars to open hatches when necessary Log all Railcar hook up information in the Log book located in Supervisor's office as well as log any movement of material lines when switching compartments of a railcar when designated to do so by the Resin Handler or Production Supervisor Maintain daily resin hopper check sheets on a frequency designated by the Shift Supervisor Contain or eliminate and report unsafe conditions to EHS or management immediately upon discovery Train new team members in material handling Watch current inventory conditions to help prevent outages and to notify the Shift Supervisor when materials reach minimum level Safety Commitment : Takes reasonable care for their own health and safety.
