About the role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the RADIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT BRANCH, NUCLEAR QUALITY DIVISION, NUCLEAR ENGINEERING and PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience with the various aspects of nuclear propulsion plants and radiological engineering. * Experience preparing reports and memorandums. * Experience reviewing reports on work status, deficiencies, critiques, incidents, and other correspondence concerning radiological work. * Experience identifying areas where symptoms of radiological problems exist.
