Who You Will Work With: You will join the Digital Marketing team at Interac, supporting the delivery and optimization of digital experiences across our owned properties and CRM ecosystem. Throughout the internship, you'll gain hands-on experience across website management, campaign execution, and marketing technology (MarTech), while working alongside internal teams and agency partners. This role offers exposure to both B2C and B2B marketing initiatives, with opportunities to contribute to real projects that drive traffic, engagement, and pipeline growth. You'll also take ownership of a key project focused on improving digital performance, reporting, or customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day updates and maintenance of Interac's websites, including content publishing, page updates, and basic QA across digital properties
  • Assist in the execution of CRM and email marketing campaigns within
  • Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), including list builds, testing, and deployment
  • Partner with internal teams and external agency partners to coordinate digital marketing initiatives and ensure projects are delivered on time and on brief
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) for digital assets (webpages, emails, landing pages) to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand standards before launch
  • Support digital performance reporting by pulling data from platforms (e.g., GA4, CRM, campaign tools) and helping synthesize insights
  • Research and share emerging best practices in SEO, AEO/GEO, digital experience, and CRM to support continuous improvement across the team
  • Contribute to campaign execution across B2B and B2C initiatives, supporting traffic, engagement, and lead generation efforts
  • Assist with documentation and organization of digital processes, workflows, and campaign tracking to improve team efficiency
  • What You Bring:
  • Currently completing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, Commerce, or a related field at a Canadian university
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling content for digital channels (web, email, CRM)
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and QA'ing digital assets before launch
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in using data to understand performance and inform decisions
  • Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners
  • Comfortable learning new tools and technologies, with an interest in digital marketing, websites, and marketing automation (CRM)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), or CMS platforms
  • Exposure to SEO, AEO/GEO, or digital experience optimization concepts
  • Basic understanding of HTML, email builds, or web publishing processes
  • Previous internship or project experience in digital marketing, campaigns, or content production
  • Experience working with data, dashboards, or reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Looker)
