Senior Shopify Full-Stack Developer

About the role

We're looking for a deeply hands-on Shopify Full-Stack Developer with strong experience across the Shopify ecosystem. You'll work across themes, apps, Shopify Functions, extensions, and headless implementations , building robust and scalable eCommerce solutions in a high-traffic environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working across both frontend and backend layers of Shopify.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance Shopify storefronts
• Develop scalable Shopify themes and reusable components
• Work across the Shopify ecosystem ( themes, apps, extensions, Functions, Pixels )
• Contribute to headless or hybrid Shopify architectures
• Build clean, maintainable frontend and backend solutions
• Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of systems
• Support CI/CD and modern development workflows

Requirements

• 8+ years of development experience (10+ preferred)
• 3-5+ years working with Shopify
• Strong hands-on experience across:
• Shopify theme development
• apps / extensions
• Shopify Functions
• Pixels
• headless Shopify
• Strong knowledge of:
• Liquid
• HTML / CSS / Tailwind
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• React
• Next.js or Remix
• Node.js (or similar backend)
• Git / GitHub
• Shopify Checkout Extensibility
• Headless commerce architecture
• Shopify Pixels / advanced tracking
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
• Playwright or unit testing
• Experience with high-traffic eCommerce platforms
