Mid Software Systems Engineer with Java

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java (Java 17/21 preferred)
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native development (or similar Cloud Solutions)
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, Git)
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Spock)
• Good self-organization skills and ownership mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
• Experience with identity and access management, including SSO, SAML, OAuth
• Familiarity with OKTA or similar identity providers
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE)
• Basic scripting skills
• Experience using AI tools in the Software Development Lifecycle, including:
• AI-assisted coding (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

When you join our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in every phase of the software development lifecycle: feature design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. You will: Build and maintain backend services supporting authentication, authorization, and identity management Work with a broad suite of automated tests (functional, integration, performance) Deploy and operate services in production environments, gaining full ownership of your code Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability and availability Collaborate with product, architecture, and SRE teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions In our day-to-day work, we leverage modern technologies including Java 21, Spring Boot, cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
