The role provides regional support to the Program Management team in executing Global Risk Assessment (GRA) and governance activities across the Asia & Oceania region. The incumbent plays a key role in coordinating risk assessment processes, supporting governance forums, and ensuring high‑quality reporting, stakeholder engagement, and timely delivery of regional initiatives. Global Risk Assessment In partnership with the Regional Risk Assessment Lead, the role supports and drives the Global Risk Assessment process for the APAC region by: Ensuring relevant Assessment Units (AUs) and Lines of Business are appropriately identified and engaged. Coordinating and overseeing local risk assessments in collaboration with First and Second Lines of Defence. Monitoring completion of Inherent Risk Questionnaires (IRQ) and Control Questionnaires (CQ), reviewing submissions for quality and consistency, and escalating key risks and issues as required. Supporting communication with Assessment Units, providing guidance on methodology, and contributing to continuous improvement of the GRA framework. Preparing management reports, metrics, and tailored insights to support regional and local decision‑making. Coordinating follow‑up action plans with local teams to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified risks. Governance The role also supports the Regional Program Management Head in coordinating, participating in, and managing regional and global governance activities, including: Preparing high‑quality materials and presentations for management and governance forums. Supporting ad‑hoc projects and initiatives led by Compliance Office for Asia (ACO) or Finanicial Crimes Office for Asia (FCOA). Providing administrative and logistical coordination for regional governance activities to ensure smooth and effective execution. Job Requirements: Degree qualified ACAMS or relevant professional qualification is a plus Minimum five years' experience in the Financial Crimes Compliance (e.g. KYC, Transaction Monitoring) in a global bank or financial services company. Experience in handling process improvement initiatives related to Financial Crimes would be a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across functions. Experience interacting with senior management, control function leadership and compliance subject matter experts. Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. Ability to prepare and deliver high quality executive level presentations. Ability to work independently, proactively prioritising and managing workload. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong data handling capability. Detail‑oriented with strong organisational and reporting skills. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking capabilities. Knowledge of governance frameworks, risk management principles, project management, and Financial Crimes Compliance.
