Production Controller (shipbuilding)

About the role

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPBUILDING) in the NON-NUCLEAR INSPECTION DIVISION, QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specilaized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience reviewing, assembling, and distributing the required work packages to project supervision. *Experience establishing, maintaining, and updating data logs and reports on job status for all projects. *Experience resolving problems on requested inspections. *Experience assembling and reviewing software work packages prior to distribution to projects Supervisors and Receipt Inspectors for inspection. *Experience reviewing the completed inspection software for accuracy and completeness.
