About this role Company: BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. Job Title: Associate Location: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001 Job Duties: Collaborate with various stakeholders to transform ideas into deliverables, participating in all Software Development Lifecycle phases including design, development, testing, and deployment. Work in teams focused on specific components of Aladdin and use innovative new technologies to build solutions for BlackRock and many Aladdin clients. Work closely with senior developers and managers on small teams that develop specific parts of the Aladdin platform by using cutting edge technologies. Enhance product operational efficiency by implementing process improvements and automation. Work on accessibility issues. Work on end-to-end testing of components using technology such as Cypress to ensure efficiency of testing phases. Implement robust metrics and analytics tools to track client behavior, gaining actionable insights to improve customer experience and satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field, and 36 months of experience in job offered or closely related role. Position requires 36 months of experience in the following: Programming in Java, Javascript, Typescript, CSS, SCSS and HTML; Scripting and tools including Angular, React, NodeJS, NX, and Lerna; Productivity tools including VS Code, Git (version control management), and Github Copilot; Web Components and StencilJS Testing frameworks including Cypress Micro-frontends, and single-spa; and Software Development for the Financial Industry.
