The Principal APC Engineer is p rimarily responsible for project initiation, management and execution in the area of Advanced Process Control (Basic Control, Advanced Regulatory Control and Model Predictive Control) as well as projects to develop and maintain operator training systems (OTS).Major ResponsibilitiesInitiat e and develop advanced process control (APC) concepts and roll out in production areaIdentify and initiate projects in the fields of expertise (Dynamic Modeling, Operator Training Simulators, Advanced Control and Model Predictive Control as well as multivariate data analysis)Coordinate projects with various stakeholders (AI Department, TechCenters , production units, sites) globally & regionallyInitiate, set up and execute operator training (OTS) simulator projects.
