Corporate Counsel

Requirements

• - J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• - Admitted to practice law in at least one US state.
• - 3-4 years of progressive experience in legal roles, a plus if the experience is in-house settings.
• - An understanding of the software and technology industry, including software licensing contract structures, the ability to diagnose legal problems, and present positive and creative solutions and alternatives for the business.
• - Highly responsive with a service-oriented attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
• - Ability to build relationships throughout the organization and manage internal stakeholder expectations with professionalism and responsiveness.
• - Willingness to contribute to the department's efforts to find new ways to provide more efficient and cost effective services to our internal clients.
• - Curiosity coupled with a high degree of integrity and forethought in making decisions.
• - Demonstrated prioritization skills.
• - Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• - Good understanding of corporate governance and management of complicated legal entity structures.
• - Experience with advising businesses located in multiple jurisdictions, including internationally.
• - Familiarity with privacy, AI, and corporate governance frameworks.
