Responsibilities
- Act as Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Owner for investigations projects.
- Generate and manage change plans for New Product Introductions (NPI) projects.
- Engage with Validation, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Process Control Systems (PCS) teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Support material procurement and implementation strategies.
- Implement and may innovate new experimental protocols/techniques.
- Understand the goal and maintain a high proficiency in his/her projects as well as the overall program.
- Interpret results and draw conclusions from own multistage experiments, note significant deviations, then suggest, design, and pursue relevant experiments.
- Understand relevant scientific literature and apply theoretical framework to solving problems within scientific discipline in a timely manner.
- Perform routine and complex tasks competently and independently and generate reliable and consistent results.
- Impact projects mostly through lab and/or pilot plant based activities.
- Responsible for compliance with all applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug and radioactive compounds, GxP compliance, and animal care where applicable.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education with typically five (5) years of experience.
- Master's Degree or equivalent education with typically two (2) years of experience.
- Two (2) or more years of Compounding Formulation and Equipment Preparation.
- Experience in aseptic filling processes in controlled environments.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out the job functions.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute and interpret critical experiments to answer scientific questions.
- Demonstrated ability to learn, understand and master new experimental techniques.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job function.
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional team skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and technical documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written, required.
