- CONTACTS:
- Frequently with Stores Department employees and distributors in picking up parts and materials.
- With those having work done on equipment in the field or in the shop.
- WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Exposed to outside weather conditions; must dress for inside and outside work; subject to irritations from gas, oil, solvents, fumes; and to damp and drafty conditions.
- HAZARDS:
- Subject to skin abrasions; to eye injury from foreign particles, to the hazards of carbon monoxide gas; to the hazard of working under and around equipment; to street and highway traffic.
- OTHER:
- Candidates who cannot perform some or all of these duties because of disabilities will nevertheless receive full consideration for the job based on their ability to perform the essential functions.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or successful completion of a recognized high school equivalency examination.
- Successful completion of an approved educational program in automotive maintenance or its equivalent preferred and shall have satisfactorily performed for two years in an automotive maintenance facility in a repair technician classification or its equivalent.
- An additional five years of satisfactory performance in an automotive maintenance facility in a repair technician classification will be considered in lieu of completion of an approved educational program.
- Must be able to meet and deal with people, be willing to work alone for considerable periods, be active and able-bodied and have average physical strength and endurance.
- Must be a competent operator of equipment and be able to qualify for chauffeur's license.
- Must successfully complete all testing requirements related to this classification.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid class (A) C.D.L. license with HAZMAT endorsement.

- Grade Step IA 150 Step 1 of 5 - 44.73 USD
- Grade Step IA 150 Step 2 of 5 - 46.65 USD
- Grade Step IA 150 Step 3 of 5 - 49.34 USD
- Grade Step IA 150 Step 4 of 5 - 51.02 USD
- Grade Step IA 150 Step 5 of 5 (Top Step) - 54.23 USD

Our service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities including the greater St. Louis area Job Description Hourly Rate Range: $43.43 - 52.65 Hours: - PM rotating 4-10's First week Monday-Thursday 3:30pm till 2:00am, next week Tuesday-Friday 3:30pm- 2:00am thus having a 4 day weekend every other weekend. - Owl shift comes in Tuesday- Friday 9pm-7:30am. Shift starts at 9pm Monday night and their last day is Friday morning at 7:30 am and wont report back till Monday at 9PM.
