- Evaluate and pilot alternative land maintenance strategies such as integrated vegetation management, reduced-frequency mowing, and automation solutions
- Assess risk, ROI, and operational feasibility of new approaches in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Support cross-functional initiatives and apply improvements across AES Indiana and AES Ohio operations
- Compliance, Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure all work complies with AES policies, safety standards, and environmental and regulatory requirements
- Verify contractor compliance with access, training, PPE, and site security protocols
- Monitor and support compliance with evolving environmental and land-use regulations, including wildlife-related initiatives
Requirements
- Required
- 5+ years of experience in land management, facilities operations, vegetation management, or contract/vendor management
- Experience managing service contracts, Master Service Agreements, and third-party vendors
- Ability to manage geographically dispersed assets and field operations
- Preferred
- Experience in utility, infrastructure, or asset-intensive environments
- Familiarity with integrated vegetation management programs or emerging land maintenance technologies
