Responsibilities
- You'll independently lead reviews of syndicate‑level capital, covering:

- Working with others
- You'll be a key contact for managing agents and their actuarial teams. You'll present clear, evidence‑based conclusions to the Actuarial Oversight Review Group (AORG) and other senior stakeholders, responding confidently to challenge.
- You'll collaborate closely with teams across Lloyd's, including Syndicate Performance, Exposure Management, Treasury & Investment Management and Outwards Reinsurance. And you'll represent Capital Oversight on internal and external credit working groups.
- Wider contribution
- You'll lead projects to successful delivery and, where required, manage work areas within the wider actuarial team, including activity linked to the Lloyd's Internal Model.
Requirements
- Expertise in modelling credit risk across products such as trade credit, financial guarantee, mortgage indemnity, surety, SRTs and CRTs
- Experience with ESG methodologies, assumptions and validation
- Familiarity with Basel‑based approaches to credit risk modelling and validation
- Strong background in non‑life insurance and capital modelling
- Confidence delivering complex analysis and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Comfort with tools such as Excel and SharePoint
- Qualified actuary with capital experience (desirable, not essential)
