Director, Transmission Business Development - CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively work with contract resources and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and transparency in scope definition, cost tracking, and reporting, while driving continuous improvement in construction processes, estimating accuracy, and project delivery outcomes.
• Oversee financial and operating performance of transmission venture assets.
• Promote a cooperative working environment with an emphasis on safety and good utility practice.
• Support other corporate development activities as defined across business units which require integration of cross functional work streams.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong computer skills including presentation software.
• Knowledge of transmission markets a plus.
• Perceptive market evaluation and project commercialization skills desired.
• Sense of commercial urgency and achievement.
• High degree of commercial innovation desired.
• Strong working knowledge of construction estimating, cost controls, and quantity takeoffs.
• Strong skills in risk identification and mitigation related to construction execution.
• Ability to translate field inputs into commercial and financial impacts.
