About the role
Apollo has clinical hours available for a Nurse Practitioner who will work mostly with our veteran patients , prescribing Medical Cannabis through our virtual platform. The candidate can be licensed in any province.
Responsibilities

- Help educate patients on the use of cannabis as a medicine
- Follow up with patients and monitor response to dosage and cannabinoids prescribed
Requirements
- Registered with and in good standing with the College of Nurses
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to manage a busy workload
- Team-oriented approach with existing team members and physicians
- Must be highly organized and have a good sense of time management
- Informed and abreast of scientific research and willing to learn more about the industry
- Experience in pain management or mental health is an asset
- Previous work with veterans and/or medical cannabis is a big asset
- Bilingual is an asset

- This is a part time position based remotely in Alberta or New Brunswick.
