We are seeking a high-performing Afternoon Shift Cellarperson & Production Operator (CPO) to join our Beverage team. Rooted in Schilling's Mission, Vision, and Values, this role is responsible for completing all tasks to standard that are assigned to the late shift production team. The CPO reports to the Senior Beverage Manager and works with the guidance of the beverage leadership team. For the afternoon shift, the primary responsibilities include the operation of the canning and kegging equipment and ensuring the cleaning and preparation of the production floor for the next day's production. This role works closely with all essential stakeholders to drive success in standards, efficiency, and problem-solving, and foster a fun work environment, resulting in team success. The afternoon shift CPO will demonstrate strong competency in their key responsibilities, earn trust quickly, and hold themselves and the team accountable to Schilling's policies and procedures. This role is critical in supporting the overall success of the beverage production facility and emphasizes teamwork and collaboration to achieve team goals. The afternoon shift timeframe is typically from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. The daily schedule can vary hours due to production and company needs, and is communicated with as much notice as possible. Key Responsibilities: Accurately stage and prepare ingredients for canning operations. Accurately blend ingredients during canning operations Operate the filler during canning operations. Perform line changeovers for canning operations. Complete end-of-day and end-of-canning procedures Operate the kegging machine during kegging operation. Support the fermentation processes as needed. Support juice receiving and pitch. Set up and operate liquid flow paths for operation, CIPs, and filtration. Conduct hand packing operations as needed. Maintain the integrity and sanitation of the facility and associated equipment. Ensure that all products meet the quality specifications. Follow all requirements of our food safety policy and other statutory regulations. Accurately document processes, measurements, and additions in batch logs Communicate and collaborate effectively with other members of the HQ team. Must be 21+ years of age Disciplined, with an emphasis on detail, hygiene, safety, and accurate record keeping Ability to repeatedly lift ingredients and kegs up to 67lbs and be on one's feet for full shifts Comfortable working in an ambient beverage manufacturing environment, including noise, variable temperatures, and exposure to wet conditions An interest in and willingness to be trained to work with machinery Ability to follow process documents and aid in developing them Ability to learn tasks and procedures quickly Communicate extremely well within a team and manage time effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well and maintain composure in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and external partners Be active in conversations around company culture and an agent of change, positively contributing to the workplace experience Regular and predictable in-person attendance is a requirement of this job Proactively communicate and collaborate about solutions to potential issues Be self-driven and self-motivated to accomplish tasks and learn new skills Work independently and as part of the team Be an energetic, organized, and motivated problem solver Exemplify the company's values while representing our brands Ask for help when needed Starting hourly rate of $23.32/hr.
