Additional Information

The Staff Safety Planning Manager will lead planning, implementation, and execution for safety program initiatives across Zoox teams, and drive the continuous improvement and scale of our safety data collection and assessment, risk management, and decision-making processes. You and your team will be responsible for spearheading development and implementing effective customer-focused and corporate-focused safety processes commensurate with Zoox's safety innovative leadership. As the Staff Safety Planning Manager, you will define and implement innovative processes that are rigorous, diligent and systematic as Zoox continues to scale. Leveraging AI tools and automated data systems, you will continually improve our internal safety processes, including our Robot Self-Reporting, Safety Management Systems approach, Rules of the Road, Industry Standards, Anonymous Reporting, and Assessment activities. This role will work closely with our Legal, Policy, Operations, Vehicle Engineering, Systems Design, Software, Program Management Office, and Communications teams to ensure a rigorous, disciplined, risk-based approach. A successful candidate will be able to support other Zoox safety efforts including Operational Safety, Regulatory Compliance, Policy, and Design activities.
