Trading Analyst

About the role

Principal Accountabilities Computing estimated End of Day PnL and product repricing Managing daily risk analyst and sensitivities to different risk factors (Spot, Volatility, etc), non-official VaR and stress tests and pre-trade simulations. Developing and presenting ongoing/unique trade strategies, connecting market fundamentals with proprietary insights, utilizing advanced analytics in conjunction with supply and demand models. Providing economic analysis for opportunity evaluation and capture learnings from missed opportunities. Supporting derivatives trading and policy with analysis of new and existing usage of derivative instruments. Developing strong collaborative relationships with trader, both domestically and globally, in order to drive trade execution and value creation Acting as power-user of strategic tools that support trading activities: Data systems, bespoke analytical tools, Aspect & SAP Contributing to special projects, strategy studies, and market entries. Completing analysis and reporting for trading performance. Support annual plan development. Supporting Trading Management on ad-hoc business issues. Minimum Requirements Degree in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, economics, finance, business (or equivalent) Be interested in trading, supply chain optimization, and business strategy Have the ability to forecast and assess impact of business decisions Be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-national and cross-functional teams Be able to make recommendations based on analysis Confidence to question the status quo Must be capable of working with significant autonomy and ensuring analysis is focused on delivering practical business benefits Excellent verbal and communication skills.
