Support stakeholders in understanding financial information, translating financial data into practical insights to inform day-to-day decision-making at an operational level. Support the alignment of financial activities and decisions with approved budgets, donor requirements, and organisational policies, highlighting risks, inconsistencies, or areas requiring attention. Support the preparation and review of financial information for projects, grants, and partnerships, ensuring that documentation, assumptions, and calculations are complete and consistent. Work closely with Finance Operations to support alignment between financial planning and transaction processing, supporting resolution of issues related to coding, documentation, and financial data. Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including review of financial data, follow-up on outstanding items, and ensuring that financial information from assigned portfolios is complete and accurate. Engage with donors and external stakeholders as required, supporting financial reporting, clarifications, and provision of financial information in coordination with senior finance colleagues. Support the consistent application of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, including budget management, documentation standards, and financial governance requirements. Identify financial risks, inconsistencies, or process gaps within assigned areas, and escalate or propose improvements in coordination with the Senior Finance Business Partner. Support financial management of donor-funded projects and partnerships as required, including adapting to specific donor requirements, reporting formats, and funding conditions. Contribute to different elements of the finance cycle depending on assignment, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or financial monitoring, as required. Provide interim or additional support across portfolios, functions, or locations during periods of high workload, organisational priorities, or staff absences. Support the implementation and roll-out of finance processes, tools, and systems within assigned areas, including promoting consistent application and user adoption KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) or actively studying towards one is preferred Experience Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial management, business partnering, or financial analysis, preferably within an INGO or multi-entity environment Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring processes Experience contributing to financial reporting, including management and donor reporting Experience working with operational or programme teams to support financial planning and performance tracking Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Unit4) and financial data Experience applying financial procedures and working within
