Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases across web and API applications.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Perform API testing, database validation, and end-to-end system testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and early defect detection.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong experience in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing best practices.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience in performance testing (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of Java or Python for automation scripting.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to security testing concepts.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications.
