About the role

This position is located in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Office of Economics and Analytics (OEA), Auctions Division, located in Gettysburg, PA. Relocation expenses will not be paid. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience includes the following: 1. Experience analyzing and coordinating competitive bidding or auction program activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency of technical and program materials; AND 2. Experience leading system or software improvement projects by working with IT staff, contractors, and stakeholders to implement operational enhancements; AND 3. Experience conducting data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and providing recommendations to improve program operations and processes; AND 4. Experience researching policies and procedures, drafting technical reports, and briefings, and advising management on program or operational issues. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
