Senior Software Engineer, Satellite Engineering and Mechanical Development

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 4+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++, or experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Key job responsibilities - Drive architecture and design decisions for Leo Space Engineering Application team. - Own end-to-end delivery of complex software systems, from design through production deployment and operational excellence. - Lead collaboration across multiple hardware and software teams. - Define technical roadmaps and drive innovation. - Design and implement systems and tools that accelerate development velocity for multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
