The Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer role at phs Compliance will involve: Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs) Completing Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis and Thermal Imaging Undertaking minor remedial repairs as required Completing reports and certification using cloud-based software Ensuring all documentation is submitted accurately and on time The ideal candidate for an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer at phs Compliance will have: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2 City & Guilds 18th Edition City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 AM2 qualification Experience working in an electrical testing environment Experience with electrical installation or project work Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations Good IT literacy IPAF 3a & 3b licence Full UK Driving licence (maximum 6 points) Desirable: Flexibility to work 40 hours per week including evening/twilight shifts Willingness to travel and stay away when required In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get: Salary of £38,000 + uncapped bonus (OTE c. £49,500) Company vehicle (available for private use) with fuel card Bonus and overtime/on-call earning potential Virtual GP for you and your household 31 days holiday (including bank holidays) phs Perks offering discounts with major retailers phs Shop discounts on household consumables Ongoing training and development opportunities Fully maintained vehicle with all work-related costs covered Laptop, PDA, testing equipment and uniform provided 24-hour wellbeing helpline Pension and additional company benefits About phs: phs Compliance supports over 2,000 UK and Irish businesses with testing, installation and management of their property infrastructure assets, delivering electrical test and inspection, M&E installation and maintenance, and asset verification nationwide.
