Senior Vehicle Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools to ensure accurate problem identification
• Perform routine maintenance such as engine oil servicing, brake replacement, and tyre rotation to maintain vehicle performance
• Repair or replace faulty components including braking systems, engines, and suspension parts
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend effective repair solutions
• Maintain accurate service records for quality assurance and customer transparency
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all work performed
• Stay updated with latest automotive technologies, especially in hybrid and EV systems
• Work closely with team members and workshop management to ensure efficient operations and high service standards
• Required Competencies & Certifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive repair or servicing
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Preferred Competencies & Qualifications
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
• Experience or willingness to learn hybrid and EV technologies
• Team player with strong attention to detail
