Analyst - Strategic Advisory (India Coverage)

Responsibilities

• Financial analysis and modeling
• Drafting of client presentations
• Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use
• Conducting financial and other business related research
• Coordinating complex and often time-sensitive processes
• Active involvement in client facing situations
• Assistance in the execution of transactions

Requirements

• PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, law, accountancy or business management from a Government recognised university or institution, or from an overseas university or institution
• Minimum of 2 years' directly comparable experience within investment banking at an India based merchant bank and with a strong focus on M&A
• Certificate for NISM Series-IX: Merchant Banking Certification Examination
• A strong background in finance/accounting is required
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills
