The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace through active and visible leadership. Implementing and ensuring use of Lean Management Systems to drive continual improvements in safety, employee engagement, productivity, and quality. Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, production planning and plant engineering, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Leading and continually developing self and others at multiple levels of the organization through supervision, providing recognition, policy administration, continuous coaching for improvement and participation in hiring processes. Representing plant leadership team through driving initiatives across the plant, including but not limited to supervision coverage for alternative shifts, being on-call and serving as a primary plant management representative. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Eight (8) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Three (3) years of supervisory and/or management experience Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Ten (10) years' manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Five (5) years' previous supervisory and/or management experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing Manufacturing Supervisors as well as peers and ability to influence higher levels of the organization. Work location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model. Travel: May include up to 10% domestic. Relocation: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
