- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team - Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. - Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others. - Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. - Prepares project proposal and tenders for Main Roads Panel projects and Major Projects. - Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. - Prepares technical specification sections. - Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. - Carries out interdisciplinary coordination on projects. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 15+ years' experience in highway and major infrastructure design. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) - Engineers Australia. Demonstrated experience working with Main Roads WA projects and standards. Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams in a consultancy environment. Strong commercial awareness and client‑facing capability. Ability to provide clear technical direction and professional judgement.
