Deputy Operations Director

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Operations and Operations Director in overseeing daily operational activities.
• Ensure smooth and efficient execution of company processes and workflows.
• Assist in developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor departmental performance and recommend improvements for productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Supervise managers and team personnel to ensure operational targets are met.
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and cost-control initiatives.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Support staff development, training, and performance management.
• Step in for the Senior Operations and Operations Director as and when required.
• Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management or senior supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
• Experience in process improvement and change management is an advantage.
• Able to strategic think with strong execution skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Able to make sound decisions independently.
• Results-driven with a pro-active mindset.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
